About The Artist
I love trees - I think that I might have trees in my DNA. I see trees in a roll of wire or a piece of timber and can't resist trying to call it out. My philosophy of art is simple: You have to be willing to make something ugly, never deeming it as failure, on your way to creating something beautiful.
I was born with an irresistible desire to create. My family are known as "Hiebertizers," def: whatever you are looking at, there is probably a way to make it better, new, or different. Our home is surrounded and loved by trees. The result: nothing could be more natural to me than seeing the possibility of trees in the most unlikely materials.
